Terms of service
Last updated September 7, 2026 — Method Mockups (see also our Privacy Policy)
1. Who this is
Method Mockups is operated by Quinn Adelaide Creative Communication, doing business as Method Mockups. "We," "us," and "our" refer to that business; "you" refers to anyone using the site.
2. The service
Method Mockups lets you upload your own artwork and place it onto professionally photographed product mockups, right in your browser. Free accounts (and signed-out visitors) can export a watermarked, web-resolution image; a paid subscription (see below) removes the watermark and unlocks full-resolution downloads suitable for print.
3. Your account
You need an account (email and password) to save a subscription to. You're responsible for keeping your password secure and for anything that happens under your account. Let us know if you think someone else has access to it.
4. Subscription & billing
The paid plan is billed monthly through Stripe, our payment processor — we never see or store your card details ourselves. You can cancel anytime from your account page; cancelling stops future billing but doesn't refund the current billing period unless we say otherwise. Prices may change for future billing periods; if you're an active subscriber when a price change happens, we'll honor your original rate for as long as you stay subscribed without interruption, consistent with what the pricing page says at the time you subscribed.
5. What you upload
Whatever artwork you upload to place onto a mockup is yours — we don't claim any ownership over it, and (see our Privacy Policy) it's processed entirely in your own browser and is never uploaded to or stored on our servers. You're responsible for making sure you actually have the right to use whatever you upload — don't upload artwork you don't own or don't have permission to use.
6. The mockup photos themselves
The underlying product photography (the mockups themselves, independent of whatever you place onto them) is owned by us. A finished export — your artwork composited onto one of our mockups — is yours to use freely for your own purposes, including commercially (that's the whole point). What isn't included: reselling, redistributing, or republishing our mockup photos on their own, uncomposited, or building a competing mockup tool or catalog from them.
Some product imagery on this site is created using AI-assisted photography techniques, composited into final designs.
7. Acceptable use
Don't use the service to create or distribute anything illegal, infringing, or knowingly harmful, and don't try to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or abuse the site or its infrastructure. We can suspend or terminate an account that violates this.
8. No warranty
The service is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. We work to keep it accurate and available but don't guarantee it'll be error-free or uninterrupted.
9. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, our liability to you for any claim arising from your use of the service is limited to the amount you've paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We aren't liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of South Carolina, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
11. Changes
We may update these terms occasionally; we'll update the date at the top when we do. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
