Privacy policy

The short version

We collect the minimum needed to run your account and process payment — your email and, if you subscribe, billing details handled entirely by Stripe. The design you upload to place onto a mockup is processed in your own browser and never touches our servers. We don't sell your data, and we don't run ad tracking.

What we collect

• Account info — the email and password you sign up with, handled by our authentication provider (Supabase).
• Payment info — if you subscribe, billing is handled entirely by Stripe. We store only a Stripe customer/subscription reference and your subscription status — never your card number.
• Your uploaded design — processed entirely client-side, in your own browser. It's never uploaded to, or stored on, our servers. Once you close the tab, it's gone from our end because it was never on our end.
• Basic usage analytics — aggregated, privacy-preserving page-view and performance data (via Vercel Analytics/Speed Insights), which doesn't use cookies or track you individually across sites.

Cookies

We use one essential cookie to keep you signed in (via Supabase). It's required for the site to work if you're logged in — we don't use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

Who we share it with

Only the services that actually run the app — we don't sell or rent your data to anyone else:

• Supabase — hosts our database, authentication, and the mockup photo library.
• Stripe — processes payments and handles all billing/card data directly.
• Vercel — hosts the site and provides the aggregated analytics mentioned above.
• Resend — delivers account emails (signup confirmation, password reset). We don't send marketing email.

How long we keep it

We keep your account info for as long as your account exists. Delete your account (or ask us to — see Contact below) and we'll remove your profile and cancel any active subscription; Stripe retains billing records as required for its own tax/legal obligations, independent of us.

Your rights

You can access, correct, or delete your account information at any time — most of it directly from your account page, or by emailing us. If you're in a region with additional data rights (like the EU/UK or California), those apply too; contact us and we'll honor them.

Children

Method Mockups isn't directed at children, and we don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.

Changes

We may update this policy occasionally; we'll update the date at the top when we do.
